Neighborhood Story Time is a new program from Polk County Parks & Recreation designed to promote family literacy among families with pre-school age children up to 6-years old.
The free interactive experience takes place on the following dates from May to August at the Medulla Resource Center from 10 a.m. - Noon.

Aug. 18 - Turtle Island by Kevin Sherry
At each event, an engaging costumed character will read stories from a beloved children's book. Hands-on activities will follow the readings. Snacks will be provided to celebrate the theme of each children's book.
